Cannot open a PPS file using Power Point 2007

I get the following error message


The presentation cannot be opened. Your antivirus program may prevent you from opening the presentation. To fix this problem, make sure your antivirus program is current and working correctly. If the problem persists and the presentation is from someone that you trust, turn off your antivirus program, and then try to open the presentation again. If you do this, make sure you turn on your antivirus program again after you open the presentation.

Welcome rohit111 to the windows 7 forums.

One problem that I see is that the file does contain a bad guy or it was made with another version of Power Point
like PP 2010 which is not directly readable in pp 2007.

If the file does contain a virus/trojan, then your AV is most likely doing it's job.
Most AV's will allow you to scan a particular file for bad guys, read the screen after it has finished scanning
the PP presentation that you can't open.
