Solved Cannot rearrange files in folders, cannot untick Auto arrange

Hi,

I cannot rearrange any files in folders. Previously I would right click on the folder, select View and
I could simply untick Auto arrange and drag things around as usual. Now the Auto arrange and Align
to grid options have disappeared. New options for viewing files Tiles and Content have also appeared,
but the other options below the line, which I need, have gone.

I have tried using a reg file to undo Auto Arrange on Windows 7, but with no success.

Could you please advise? Thanks!

If you haven't already, see if using Option One in the tutorial below may help disable auto arrange.

This will not be applied to Libraries though.
