Cannot Update Windows 7 Service Pack 1

Hello,

Just completed a new build for a media server and cannot finalize Windows 7. I am stuck and cannot update Windows 7. Looks to be a common issue.

I have the CheckSUR.log file from last evening and it looks like there are a few manifest and other packages unavailable.

Help please!

What version of Win7x64? If you haven't added additional programs after install of Win7, I'd reformat & reinstall. If you have, I'd Repair Install

You should not have 23 missing/corrupt manifests/cat/mum files on fresh install?

Is your win7 installation CD legitimate?

You are correct, Win7 is taking a long time for updates to appear. There are 200+ updates currently. If you are patient, the updates will eventually appear. Most of the time within a few hours, but sometimes much, much longer. 24-48 hours
