Can't boot any media, Error 0x000000e

Hello People

I have been struggling with a error of 0x000000e since weeks, the problem isn't solvable by repairing disk setup as I am not able to boot Windows 7 installation disk/usb drive at all, when I do it throws me the error 0x000000e..
I had two windows 7 installed and one of them I formatted with Gparted ISO. When I boot up my hard disk it shows me choose between my two OS, when I enter one it says install a repair disk, which I can't boot at all..

The CDs and usb drive work on other pc's very well, doesn't boot up my PC, I have a P5P-500MX Asus Motherboard, with a Hitachi SATA drive..

Please try the below steps.

1. Disconnect the HDD and check whether the USB boots fine.

2. If not, make sure the disc you are using is in good shape. Download a fresh copy of "Windows 7" install disc from Microsoft's "DigitalRiver" site.

Use the ISO to create a new USB install dick and try booting from it.

3. If the issue persist, run memory diagnostic test using "Memtest86+". I have seen bad RAM modules causing the same error message in your description.

You can optionally run the memory test first before other steps. Make sure to run the test for at least 7 or more passes for an accurate result.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

1. I tried removing HDD and booting from dvd/usb - no luck
2. The ISO am having works fine with various PCs
3. I ran a test it seems good.

I have tried all you said with no luck, but i found that i had old windows 98 cd which booted and it was working, even ubuntu boots well, any of this can help?

There is another possible issue - booting "Windows 7 x64" install disc on an old system may cause the same erorr message as most of the old processors are only 32 bit. Your MoBo seems to be an Intel 865 chipset one which is fairly old and probably only x86 ( 32 bit ) compatible. Try booting a "Windows 7" 32 bit install media and let me know whether the issue persists.

I had a 32bit Windows 7 installed, booted the same.
