Every time I try to boot up, I get a blue screen. 0x0000007B (0xF8897528, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

It's possible that there's a virus preventing it from booting.

I've tried booting from safe mode, but apparently there are DLLs missing.

I don't have a Windows XP CD to do a System Recovery.

EDIT: I was able to obtain an ISO and use that to boot.
However, while reinstalling Windows I get another error: Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed on your computer. That might explain why it's not booting up...

I'm a novice compared to most of the members on seven forums, but since you don't have any replies I will shed my thoughts on the matter :) If I'm giving incorrect advice someone please step in!

Ok, you will receive a "Stop 0x0000007B" error message if your pc is infected with a boot-sector virus, If it was me and I did not have the ability to re-install Windows I would run a live OS on my machine such as PCLinuxOS. Download the ISO from the Linux website and use the Live CD option to boot the OS from a disc.
In Linux first mount your Windows partition and then download both an Anti-Virus and a SpyWare Scanner from the package manager. Scan your windows partition and fix any problems the scanner finds. Another option is you could make note of the missing DLL files and explore your Windows partition, or even source the DLL files and replace them.

Hope This Helps!
Dan
