Hallo everybody
I am running windows7x64 and I can't click accept on the software license agreement of acrobat 9.
I have done everything recommended at these sites but nothing seems to work!

Can't click Accept -- Acrobat and Adobe Reader
Adobe Forums: Acrobat 9 Pro - can't accept EULA
Acrobat 8 does not respond when you click Accept on the License Agreement window (Windows)

{NOTE:After many hours of searching I found out that the location for the EULA registry key is here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\9.0\AdobeViewer and not at the location that is mentioned on solution 3 of the third link that is given above!}

All the instructions are refered for windows vista or xp and I am not quite sure if this is the problem!
Can anybody help me out with this?

FINALLY I SOLVED IT!!!:thumbsup:

After searching the internet for one week I combined all the information and made the right keys!
I have to tell you that I uninstalled acrobat 9 and installed acrobat 8 because it is simpler, since I don't want anything more than editing my pdf documents!

I uninstalled the program completely, not with the help of control panel but with the help of REVO UNINSTALLER in order to completely remove all the registry entries, the remnants and the folders.

So, if anybody wants to change the keys, by replacing the "8.0" to 9.0", try it for acrobat 9 and please tell me if it worked for it as well, because I don't have the courage to try it one more time!:sick:

NOTE:The keys are for WINDOWS 7 - 64BIT!!!

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\8.0\AdobeViewer]
"EULA"=dword:00000001
"Launched"=dword:00000001
"Registered"=dword:00000002

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node \Adobe\Adobe Viewer\8.0\AdobeViewer]
"EULA"=dword:00000001
"Launched"=dword:00000001
"Registered"=dword:00000002

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node \Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\8.0\AdobeViewer]
"EULA"=dword:00000001
"Launched"=dword:00000001
"Registered"=dword:00000001

IMPORTANT: In my case the keys didn't exist in the registry editor, so I had to create them! If the same thing happens to you don't be afraid to create them too!

Hope it was helpful!;)

Windows XP SP3 32bit, Acrobat 9 Pro 9.3.4 and *Internet Explorer 8*, here.

Too bad, the corresponding keys, i.e.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\9.0\AdobeViewer]
"Launched"=dword:00000001
"EULA"=dword:00000001
"Registered"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\9.0\AdobeViewer]
"Launched"=dword:00000001
"EULA"=dword:00000001
"Registered"=dword:00000001

don't do the trick (also with: "Registered"=dword:00000002 )!

Since I installed Acrobat 9 Pro 9.3.4 with no problems in another partition of the same PC, but with Windows XP SP3 32bit and *Internet Explorer 6*, I think a person who wrote (don't remember where) that *the "EULA accept problem" depends on IE8* was right (but he didn't provide a solution, or it was the "regsvr32 jscript.dll", which doesn't work).

Let's hope Adobe will fix this bug.

Bye!

I spent hours on the phone with Adobe with the same problem with the Eula in a new purchase of Adobe 9 Pro.
Finally they suggested that I create an administrator account they could use when they connected to my system. I created the new account and switched users. Just for grins I accessed the Adobe Acrobat, the EULA popped up and I was able to click accept. I logged out and back into my normal account (which is also an admin account) and surprise, surprise, the Acrobat 9 opened up normally.
The Adobe tech noted the "solution". He could not find anything on a solution to this one.
