Cant connect Boxee Box to W7 64 bit network

Just a quick rant...why cant this be manageable?

I had to reinstall my W7 64 bit OS because my registry became unstable after a virus.

Now I cant reconnect my Boxee Box to my network. I dont remember where to begin, I had it correctly configured and have for a couple years and now the nightmare begins again.

I have my Boxee Box connected to my network through the ethernet to my Verizon router, so it is wired.
I accessed my router and tested the connection, its connected to the Boxee. "sees" it just fine.
I have left the Homegroup because I can remember that was a pivotal step.
I have everything that I can think of shared.

I still cant connect.
Where to begin?

It was a sharing issue.

Clearly I had to figure it out on my own, this thread didnt gain much traction. Thanks anywho.
