Solved Can't connect to local router page

When I try to connect to 192.168.1.1 my router's page, most of the time (but not always) it doesnt load, router model is TP Link. I thought the router wasnt working since it was old so I bought a new one, still the same problem, I thought maybe my Windows had some issues so I made a fresh install, still the same thing, so I thought maybe it was something related to the hardware in my PC so I tried it on a totally different PC connected to the same router, still no luck. This is the strangest problem I ever had with a router so would appreciate any suggestions.

Try using Chrome to surf to the router.

Hmm, some routers stop responding after a certain time (I don't know why to be honest). Mine would do it too. 99% of the time it can be fixed simply restarting (unplugging the power, waiting for 10 seconds and plug back in). Once I had it not responding even after a restart. And a factory reset fixed that issue. Check your manual how to perform it.

Thanks for the quick answer, that seems to be it, and the new router is the same brand as the old one, if its specific to that brand Im not buying it again.

Mine was a Linksys WRT110, a very cheap model. But remember this kind of issues years ago while using ADSL modem/routers too.
