Hi Karl,

Thank you for your reply -- as you know , I just joined and just saw your reply --Is there something I can do , to get notice via Email that I have a reply -- maybe I made a mistake in my set up--

Now about the problem ---The screen shot will not work--- When attempting to go into Xp mode , the screen that I see says XP mode and it is totally black with some captions at the top which you can click on saying ACTION, USB, TOOLS and CTRL, alt, del --- The only meaningful that can open is TOOLS for which you can see SETTINGS - VIRTUAL PC SETTINGS - many items in there like integration, ,,,---

Thanks, Ralph

funny thing  I had the exact same issue today... I think the latest round of updates might have killed something.... you start XP mode and its just a blank screen right? or it freezes on the logging in screen. and when you hit cancel and try and log in again it says "cant connect to terminal" or something similar? (i got both of those) I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling XP mode. Maybe not the most helpful solution... but it worked for me

As Severedsolo told here above, reinstall might fix your issue.

Screenshot does not work? Run XP Mode, and when it's started, showing the black screen as you told, press Print Screen button (PrtScn), open Paint, paste image, save it, and follow the instructions in tutorial linked in my previous post.
