Can't create a partition out of my HDD

Hi guys ,
I've done a clean format to my OS . But at the partition creation part , some of my hdd couldn't be used to make a partition of it . I'll give you a screenshot to explain my problem better :

As you can see after the process tells me that creation of a new partition has been completed i end up seeing this error . Any help would be appreciated .

What exactly are you trying to do?

And with which partitions?

We'll i'm trying to create a new partition out of that free space . But it won't let me and says the above error in the picture .

I just did a quick search and found out that the maximum number of partitions is 4 and i do have 4 parts of partition . So i'm just gonna delete one of em and see it it does any good ?

Just to clarify.

You can have up to four primary partitions on each hard drive.

If you need more, you create logical partitions in an extended primary partition.

An MBR disk can have three primary partitions and an extended partition with up to 128 logical drives.

You already have an extended partition.

It is surrounded by the dark green border and contains logical partition E and 97 GB of free space.

The 4 partition limit does not apply to logical partitions, so I don't know why you cannot create a partition from that 97 GB free space---I assume that is what you are trying to do.

Nonetheless, I'm in favor of reducing the number of partitions whenever possible, so if you can move data around and avoid using an extended partition, more power to you.

I did what you suggested me to do and deleted one of my partitions i now have 184.6 gb of free space and 3 parts of partitions and yet still i can't create a partition it's giving me the same error .

As you've already wiped your operating system, I'd be inclined to use Partition Wizard to delete all the partitions on your hard drive and make a fresh start.
