Cant download updates error 8024402c

So i just built this computer plugged in the ethernet cable and I can use the internet, it runs fast. But I cant download anything. Windows update just stays on 0% it finally cancelled itself I'm assuming because it was going too slow just like everything else I have tried to download has. Thats when I got the error 8024402c. So I tried downloading a file off the web. It started around 2000kb/sec then gradually dropped to 2-4kb/sec in a few seconds. I've been scouring the internet trying to find an answer but I cant seem to find one. Any help would be awesome. Thank you


UPDATE
It started working all of the sudden. I didnt do anything and it wasnt working for 4 hours but now I can download. No idea why but if anyone does that would be cool to know

This error usually indicates a connection problem of some kind - perhaps your DNS servers were out of sync.
