Not that I essentially need it but... Well, better to have it working than not, right? I even tried alternative drivers like Synaptics aside from the original software/drivers. If I integrated my Realtek ethernet card and managed to enable WIFI i guess that'd be thing right? Just to put it into the Simplix folder since it's a hardware thing as well.

Can it be damaged or disconnected? Did you work on the PC?

Forgot to mention it worked on Win10. It's a laptop and no, I've never tried using a touchpad on my pc.

It's just a HID-compliant mouse and there's no extra pointing device showing up but anyway:

HID\VID_1_1BCF&PID_0005_0005&REV_0014

Maybe I should just add touchpad drivers to Simplix integration next time. It's a hardware thing so if I could install some REALTEK this way then I guess it should work with touchpad as well.

Thx, it stuck on "preparation for reboot" on 95% since a good while though. Does it usually take this long? I don't wanna interrupt it.

So I waited couple hours, nothing happened, then rebooted. After that I saw "Configuring your computer" screen, basically it installed some unwanted crap like couple outdated browsers (including "chrone" browser and i guess it's a fake), fb app and some search bar (without even asking me) with broken java script that didn't work for me (wouldn't use it anyway). Then I looked what drivers it found and suggested to install. I gambled and selected everything. There's a pulsing blue loading icon next to my mouse pointer and that's very annoying seeing it happen all time.

I again had to reboot since while installing there was a black screen (I still could use the system but basically nothing more happened (in the task manager the process didn't even change it's memory usage so it seemed like it froze. Ofc ran as Administrator.

It installed ASUS Smart Gesture but in the Touchpad Button tab I can't get it working even though there are some settings, they just don't work.

And now my keyboard backlit is off when in idle which didn't happen before and the lighting was on all time (still can't find the solution for Aura Sync problem I created another thread btw).

The software looks like this Right Clicking on my trackpad is not working

just scroll down and there'll be a picture below. Sorry, the direct picture url isn't available as it requires owning Asus account.

No extra pointing device showed up in Device Manager - mouse only as it was there before.
