Can't enable Windows Update again

A couple weeks ago I noticed that a program called trustedinstaller.exe was taking up my disk i/o activity, making my system slow. I found out that it was related to the windows module installer so I disabled the service, but Windows Update depends on this service. After a couple weeks, now I want to enable Windows Module Installer so I can install Windows updates but every time I try to enable the service I get what's in the image. What can I do to fix this?

See if you can do a system restore to a point before you disabled trustedinstaller.exe ... otherwise, do a repair install..
