Can't get fonts right

What a nightmare. Old computer given up the ghost after 6 years!! so now have ot have windows 7. Just can't figure out how to get the fonts etc right. Have got so far but that's it as I don;t understand what all these message box, inactive title bar etc are. The main problem I have is that I trade on ebay. My ebay page shows 2 different sizes of fonts The main listings are in a nice big font (think it's either Tahoma or Arial) but the boxes for my messages as in a very small font which is barely readable. If I try to make anything bigger the main listings change but not the information in the boxes. Anyone help with this PLEASE

Look in the option box(upper right hand corner) should show text size.
It does in IE 8 anyway. Depends what browser you are using so look in tool box would be another place. IMO

Thanks - that helps with composing emails but doesn.t seems to make any difference to my message box in ebay

In ebay, isn't there a way to display messages?
I just bought something on ebay for the 1st time so if I were you I would send ebay your message display problem. IMO
