Hello.
I bought the above mini router to use with PIA VPN.
My setup is telephone socket phone line Sky Q hub, LAN cable from Lan port to WAN socket on mini router.
Before this new setup it was Sky hub to homeplug and upstairs homeplugs to pc and sat box for tv and internet tv as wifi is bad signal upstairs.
I have tried WAN from mini to sky hub LAN and all i get is wifi.
Tried homeplug LAN canle to LAN port on mini but still can only get wifi.
The GL-inet website says to connect to user interface input 192.168.8.1 ip and then you setup mini router and then add VPN files but the ip address i used will not connect.
I am wanting to use my pc through VPN using LAN/homeplugs but the Sky HD boxes use wifi so they can connect to the Sky Q hub if i can get it to work.
Here is a link https://gl-inet.com/docs/mini/ for the setup page.

Well after 4 days i still cant get it to work.
I have been onto GL-inet forum site and tried a few options but cant get passed the opvn files upload.
It now says cannot access host address and just keeps repeating that.

The IP for the router I assume is the same as the sky router. So assuming the VPN router has DHCP you need it isolated from the network connected directly to a PC then you should be able to login and set it up you will have to change its default IP so it doesn't conflict with sky just change last number to 50

No the sky router has a different ip.
192.168.8.1 is the ip for the mini router which then gets you into the set up as in my link 1st post.

This might be where my issue starts as i cant seem to get into the settings part of the mini router.

http://gl-inet.com/docs/openwrt/openvpn/

This is the part where i try to input the zip PIA OPVN files and it and it returns a cannot access host address.

You won't be able to get to it unless you isolate it from the network and connect directly to it as it's on a different subnet

Isolate what from what network and connect directly to what and no idea what subnet settings are needed.
