Solved Can't get onto OS(windows 7). what do you suggest?

when it reaches istalling updates, it reboots itself then goes to completing installation and just dosen't move.
im currently re trying it again.

It may need more time. Be sure not to Press Any Key to boot the DVD after the first time.

I would test the RAM and HD next since it might have been hardware problems that caused your original hang, and are now hanging install.

I would also use the Win7 download tool to write to USB flash stick to try install to see if something about the DVD is causing the hang as sometimes happens.

Don't forget to reset the BIOS to defaults. While in BIOS setup look for SATA controller settings, set to AHCI. Set HD to boot first, after DVD drive, then use the F12 hotkey to boot DVD or flashstick - which may be under USB, Removable or HD's.

.... that was the msg I got after stuck on the "completling installation" part for about after 30 mins.
so I click ok, and the same msg keeps apprearing and same thing after and after again.

omg the whole night I was kinda tripping out, and almost smashed the brand new laptop cause I was so mad at this sitution. but the whole time the problem was that the partitions were not deleted properly, I had three partitions and had only deleted one. I finally just deleted the 2nd one and only left one partition and the DL for win7 and it worked.

With Acer you must often delete the Recovery partition to overcome install hang. This is why I asked if you'd deleted all partitions or wiped the HD yet.

If you didn't delete all partitions but left one then you may have a lot of unallocated space on the HD which can be added to your Win7 partition, or created into a Storage or Data partition - whichever you prefer. Post back a screenshot of your maximized Disk Management drive map, using Snipping Tool in Start menu so we can advise you better.

Also follow the other steps in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to make sure you get and maintain a perfect install.

for some reason, the recovery disks didn't work even after I deleted all partitions and left one fresh new one. But too reformat windows 7, it worked flawlessly. it was because of the extra partition. My computer is up and running again. I downloaded the drivers and etc for my computer, and it looks even better then before. Computer is running super smoothly, all I need is a Anti Virus, do you know of any good ones over the net?

Johnny I am glad to help you but must ask why you never read the link I kept reminding you to study to get a perfect install: Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

Had you read this link you would have known exactly how to delete all partitions, that you should use the drivers given by the installer and quickly updated via optional Windows Updates - then only import any still missing in Device Manager.

You'd also have read that the best free AV is Microsoft Security Essentials.

I am glad to help you but discouraged when I remind you so many times to follow the steps in the tutorial that you continue to ignore them. Why?
