I just built a computer and I'm still working the bugs out of it......like not being able to install windows. I am trying to install win7 ultimate 64x from a DVD. I have 1 SATA optical drive and 1 SATA hard drive. I uesd the RC for a while on my old comp and it would install wicked fast. On this machine it takes about 10 minutes before it gets to the partitioning interface. After about 10 more minutes letting it try to format I get an error code that I can't remember, so I formatted my drive with gparted instead and tried to install on the fresh partition and I got an error code I do remember. 0x8007045D comes up and gives me some guff about files not being there. It's an OEM copy I purchased with my computer parts so It's totally legit. I am totally puzzled and could only think to come here for help.
