Hi everyone, first, I'm new so my apologies if this thread is in the wrong category. So I rebooted my dell laptop and got to the black screen where there were ''start windows normally'' and ''launch startup repair'', I chose start windows normally but it just rebooted and same thing happened, so I chose to launch system repair when it finished running same thing happened,it rebooted again and same, so I started it in safe mode and same thing, so I tried chosing from advanced boot options ''Last Known Good Configuration'', and the blue screen appeared which reads ''STOP : c000021a fatal system error'', then guess what happened, it rebooted and same thing happened :p .
So as you can see I cannot in anyway log on.
Also, I neither installed new drivers nor updated any
.

Please help!
A million thanks to any help.
:) :) :)

Edit; the reason I first rebooted my laptop was because avira free antivirus asked for a password (which I didn't set) for disabling the program and for accessing the admistrative section..so I googled and found this:
''Start the computer in safe mode then go to
C:\ProgramData\Avira\AntiVir Desktop\CONFIG
• Click with the right mouse button on the AVWIN.INI file and open it with the Notepad
• Edit the file under the item [COMMON] as follows:
Password=
SecurityExtension=0x00000000
• Save the file
• Restart your PC
• The password protection for Avira has now been removed
''
And that's when it happened

Also have a pretty bad speaker setup which is a klipsch promedia 5.1 surround speaker setup with huge subwoofer and lg blu ray player/writer. Also a hp officejet pro 8600 plus wireless all in one and a logitech s7500 webcam.
If you have a disc drive then try booting into a bootable Windows 7 CD if you have one.If it still comes up with the blue screen of death then it has something to do with either your motherboard,or memory or hard drive.

What if I don't have a disc drive?:o

Then you will have to try replacing any one of those things without trying to boot into a disc.Let me guess, you don't have a disc drive do you?

Try this.Go to to the the advanced boot options again and go to Repair your computer. When it comes up with everything choose Command Prompt. Then run chkdsk and see what happens. If that does not work then try the system restore and roll it back a few days.

Command prompt doesn't show up.
A system repair is launched and when it's done, I either shutdown or restart(doesn't work).
Where can I try the system restore?
I chose Directory Services Restore Mode from advanced boot options, but I got ''Cannot determine file systems of drive''

I said choose the repair your computer option. It will be the first thing highlighted when it brings you to the Advanced start up options after pressing F8.When it brings there then hit the enter key.

Here is something that you can try that I found on YouTube if that does not work. They go by steps.

Step 1:Run the laptop from the battery charger only and leave the battery out.

Step 2:Turn off the laptop

Step 3:Unplug every single thing from your computer.

Step 4:Leave it that way for an hour

Step 5:Then plug the charger in (Leave the battery out still)

Step 6:Turn it back on and see if it works.

If it does work then back up all your files just in case if it shows a blue screen of death again.

And I hope you have a back up of all of your files because I don't know if they are going to reset everything on your laptop to fix the problem if you call.
