Can’t see drivers of my laptop when booting with Windows 7 DVD,

Can’t see drivers of my laptop when booting with Windows 7 DVD,

I wanted to format my laptop (HP EliteBook 8770w) and thus I booted with my windows 7 DVD but at the step of “Where do you want to install windows”, I can’t find any driver. As the “load driver” button is clicked, I got the message shown on the attached screenshot.

What might be the issue here?

Is there some settings at the BIOS level that make the drivers appear?

I checked the system information from the BIOS but I couldn’t see the hard drive (attached)

Why the BIOS is not providing information about the Hard Disk?

Go to your System Configuration, and check your drive settings.
You can also try resetting the BIOS to default settings.

I would want SATA controller set to AHCI for latest features.

The prompt for drivers can also mean a bad installer. Did it complete install in IDE mode? If not try a new ISO burned/written using tool provided in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which steps will assure a perfect install, even for retail.
