I am running Pro Tools 9 on Windows 7 home premium 32bit.
I have an M-Audio Keystation 61es plugged into a USB port on the computer.
I have updated the drivers and can see the keystation in the device manager and Devices and Printers and get the "your new hardware is installed and ready to use" message from windows.
I see the keystation listed in pro tools input devices.
I created an instrument track in Pro Tools and can't get any sound or even a signal of any kind from the controller.
what am I doing wrong, and how can I get sound?
Regards!
Eric

I Have a recording studio. I use Sonar X3, but I also have a copy of PT MP9. I don't do much with ProTools. I have an MAudio Fastrack Ultra 8R that I can use with ProTools.

Either the ProTools forum or the gearslutz forum would be a better place to get help. There are people on those forums that would be more familiar with the MAudio products and ProTools. I've been on both forums and gearslutz is probably the best place. Music Computers - Gearslutz.com
