Solved Can't share HP D5160 printer

I have Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit and a HP Photosmart D5160 Printer. I have uninstalled everything and re-installed all the drivers and softwear. When I go to printer properties, sharing, and click "share this printer", then click "Apply", I get the following msg: "Printer settings could not be saved. Operation could not complete
(error 0x000006d9)"

I'm at a loss at what to do. I know I was able to share this printer before. I can't think of anything I might have done to mess things up. I can still go to my other computers thru the network and see all the files on each computer. I have a home network with two desktops and a laptop. All are running Win7 Home Premium, 32 bit.

Thanks for the tips. I was able to share the printer by following the firewall suggestions.
