Hi, the printer does not print. Hp 2130 desk jet printer

Hi, I have the connected priner and basic deivers are installed . The printer shows online and ready . But it does not print.
On going and seeing the device manager, normally the printer is ont shown. But there is a entry in imaging services and this printer is listed there.
I then see the show hidden devices, and then i could see the printer as listed device. Here aslo the same pinter is shown.
I find nothing wrong, as this pinter is also having scanning options.
But now i could not print,

I just checked placing a plain paper for scan.
It just print the plain paper at one such pressng of print button.
I think that I have given enough details and would like to have the fix

It may be a dumb question but, have you tried accessing the printer via the included software? I don't know the name but my Envy uses the HP Print Assistant. Hi, wither, the printing was normal just days before.
i have checked the device manager, the printer device is not shown directly, but imaging device was shown.
Buat show hidden devices, shows the printer device, which was not the case before.
I avoid hp diagnostic , as it is aggressive in nature, and it takes unwanted privileges in your system.
i need only basic drivers for print.
Now, you know, that i have not raised as dumb query

The dumb question wasn't directed to you. It was meant for the question I asked.

I've never had a problem with the HP diagnostics.

The drivers for your printer at also at the link I gave you.

The printer is shown in Imaging Devices because it also has a scan function.

You didn't answer my question about printing using the software that comes with the printer.

If you try to print a document from some application, such as Word, is the printer shown in the printing options and can you print the document. If not, what happens?

hi, the printer is shown if i select file from word etc. But it is not printing.Anyhow, will try to trouble shoot further

You said it's not printing. Is there any indication that it's trying to print?

After you try to print from Word, go to Control Panel, Printers. Double click on your printer. Is the Word document shown in the Documents?

Can you print a test page from your printer using it's controls or from the printer software (which I assume you installed).
