Basically my problem is that when i installed windows 7 i installed it onto a 150gb hard drive. I soon realised that this was not large enough for my needs and was begining to run incredibly slowly. So i decided to upgrade to a Seagate Barracuda 1TB hard disk. I wanted to copy all of my file over to the new disk and keep the OS, i was told that cloning was the easiest way to do it, so i cloned my old disk. However, when i took out my old disk and booted up the computer i got the error message "NTDLR is missing". Please Help me

During the BIOS post splash screen, tap F8. This will bring you to the system recovery environment. Choose "Repair Your Computer".

Thats is because some files were corrupted in the cloning process. Namely the master boot record. No, none of your files will be deleted.

when i boot up my computer with the new hard disk in it pops up with the normal motherboard load screen and options and then straight after that says NTDLR is missing. so i tried it with my old hard drive in anyway and i can only repair that one. I have another hard drive as well that is running windows xp. Would cloning the hard drive again perhaps fix my problem.

What about Hidden Files and Folders?

Just to check

In Windows explorer go to Organize and click on Folder and search options

then click the View Tab and Click on Show hidden Files and folders then click apply and OK

Hope This Helps,
Josh
