Changing Win 7 OEM Install

Is there a way to change a Win 7 OEM setup to install on a different computer or change the computer's OEM info so that the install will work?

I don't think so. It sounds like this would be against the EULA for OEM.

I have a Dell Win 7 OEM install disk and have an Asus laptop running Win 8. Want Win 8 gone and replaced with Win 7.

The best you can legally do is get something that will make Windows 8 become nearly identical to Windows 7 (perhaps with a little bit of work, maybe not much):

If the OEM disc has never been used for an installation, you can use it on your Asus. But if it cam from a Dell system, it is a no go.
