Hello
I'm new and didn't found this.
I'm looking for how-to the window's color change according to the pictures in slideshow (one color for each picture)
this should be possible, someone succeeded (link removed)
nothing found neither in tutorioals nor in MSDN and also nothing clear in the .theme file

If someone knows .....

Thanks a lot

Hi Terminator and welcome to the forums,

I have never heard of that feature, I think if it does exist it would be a 3rd party app and not something included with Windows.

Try the windows7 remix themepack (link above)

for each background image, the color of windows changes depending on the dominant color of the background.
Yet, the themepack is like any others (cab file with .jpg and .theme files, no adds or third party)
the only difference is in the file. theme, a section [slideshow1]

I did not find who made this theme, otherwise I would have asked ...

Are we describing transparency?

The color of the desktop background shows through the on-top window?

Antman yes but he wants the actual color of the transparency to change along with the different pictures. So when the picture goes and another one loads up he wants a different transparency color to change with it.

i'm so stupid
was only transparency.....
a window over a blank page stay... light blue
only bars above desktop seems to be colored ... but it's only the background color

I was abused, cause the background picture was solid
