Checking 4 Updates error says Update Service is not Running but it is

I can no longer get updates.

When I check for updates I get a return error indicating that the Windows Update Service is not running, checking the service I see that it is running.

I have tried removing the SofwareDistribution folder from /Windows then restarting the service that did not work.

I ran the WindowsUpdateDiagnostic tool. It found several errors that it correct but said it could not
fix the following error

Windows Update Error 0x80070003 Not Fixed

Any help would be appreciated

possibly some file mismatches or a script error.
can you run this tool, copy/paste the output.
