Checking for updates of my windows 7 system no longer responds

First of all, thank you all of you very much indeed for reply and try to help me.

Second, I have really followed the karlsnooks's steps and let Defender of Windows scan. It really detected about five threats which vary in the level of the benignity. But I would like respectfully confirm for me that these are really threats. However, for me, I wouldn't think they are so for certain reasonable reasons:
1- all of them are copies(programs are not installed) on my computer and not installed programs.
2- all of them are compressed by a WinRAR file.
3- even if they were threats, how would they harm or compromise my privacy or even cause these problems, such as the problems of the Windows' updates and system restore as long as they all are just copies? As far as I know that copies have no thing to do with the computer until the user installs them.
4- If we suppose that these copies which were detected by the Defender of Windows are really threats, then I will move them into an external hard disk, and then Defender of Windows will not detect anything. As a result, we don't benefit from this anything and the problems will still be going on.
5- I am fairly sure that all of these programs were downloaded from a trusted website and publisher.
6- it is really most of those files (if not all) are cracks, keygens and patchs. However, as I said before they are copies.
7- one reason made me quite sure that those copies are not threats is when I extract one copy of those copies which was detected as threats, especially the one which detected as a 'severe', I was quite surprising that all of its content was .txt files

In the end, I decided to chose the 'allow' action of all the five threats. And then, I click on 'apply'.

RESULTS OF THE SCAN
The results will be in 4 log files on your computer's disk in:
\Windows\Microsoft Antimalware\Support
Upload the four log files please.
================================================
Unfortunately, when I have went to this path in my USB Flash Drive hoping to find all the details of those threads and I didn't find anything and even didn't find this path you provided.

If full functionality is not returned, we will help you run a Repair Install - read the blue link now to understand how it is done. Do you have the latest official Windows 7 installer with SP1?
When I purchased my laptop, the retailer didn't give me a Windows 7 installation Disc. As you see in my last picture that there are two drivers in my computer, D, which is for the Recovery of the factory, and C, which is for Windows system installed now.
I have created a backup in three DVDs in immediatly after the preparing of system. I think this is a copy from the recovery which is in D.
I want neither restore the backup(recovery) which is on D, nor which is on DVDs, because each of them would return my computer into what it was when it released from the factory.
retail Windows 7 installation DVD/USB

As long as the letter of system's drive shows 'D' instead of C as it is shown in the picture in my post#14 one day ago, I would like to say that I think that the letter of a drive in Windows converts into the letter which follows it, for instance, C become D and so on, As a result, could you please confirm for me whether I continue with the steps here 'This will allow you to restore Windows 7 to a earlier restore point with a Windows 7 installation disc or System Repair Disc from the System Recovery Options screen at bootup. This can be handy if you cannot startup Windows 7.'?

I have the highest respect and admiration for the security experts at Microsoft. When one of their products show a program as a security threat, then I most certainly don't think that at my knowledge level that I should question their judgement.

Now i'm asking you to once again run Windows Defender Offline and this time to let it delete everything WDO finds.

I have a very simple, straightforward mind that always gets from point A to point B with no detours.

After I get those fresh log files, then we can proceed.

Did you read the tutorial for Repair Install which I provided? It provides a Win7 installer for this purpose. Run the Repair Install after confirming SFC /Scannow will not repair the files.

What is the make and model of the computer and it's licensed version. Is this a modified version of WIn7? It is not reassuring to learn that the infections reported by Defender are due to cracks and keygens. Is this what you are saying?

Thank you so much indeed, but please understand me, some programs of those detected by Defender as threats are most important for me, especially, Acrobat Reader professional 8'. Let me at least move those copies such as Acrobat Reader professional 8' and a few others into another external drive or CD.

They are hacked files! Run them again and you will have problems again.

There is nothing wrong with purchasing the software that one uses.

If you can't afford the software then get a free version, which won't be as powerful, but that works.

Thank you very much for your continue for helping.

I would just like to say:

First, could let me know what problem if I copied (and not move) some of those copies which have been detected by Defender as threats into CD? Then those copies will still on my computer, after I made a copy of some of them, I would let Defender scan and remove all of them? So, if we found that the problem of window's updates is not realted with those copies, I would like to reinstall those programs again.

Second: I didn't see any of those threats in this path '\Windows\Microsoft Antimalware\Support' and even this path isn't available, although I let the Defender scan. How will I send you the 4 log files?

Finally, I have just noticed a strange folder which I didn't created or even I didn't recognize that a program created it. But it has been created since 20/06/2012, 10:14 AM.
Have you a look at this please, Could you let me know what SQLSEVER CONNECTION is for? Is it related with LibreOffice 3.5?
I am scared of this glasses of the folder.

This is also another picture of the content of that folder:

I guess that I may be I moved incidentally some folder of the window into this place without I remember. However, I am now noticing that the desktop is not working well as it was.

Thank you so much,

But could you please reply me on my last inquiries?

Fianlly: this 'reinstall' will reinstall a new version. Then what did I do?
If I had wanted to reinstall my system, I would reinstall it from either the recovery 'D' or from the backup 'DVDs' which I have created since the very first time of start my system.

I want to repair this version.

Thank you so much,

But I have checked quickly the article, however, when I noticed in some lines that says make backup of you data in an external HD, I recognised that that article will tell me to reinstall a new version of systme. So I am sorry I wouldn't do that. Even I want to do that, I will do from my backup in my DVDs, or even from the recovery of factory which is in the drive D.

Thanks for your help,

Thank you so much, I think there is fairly a misunderstanding, I would like to ask that when I scanned with the Defender, then I have checked this path '\Windows\Microsoft Antimalware\Support' in my USB Flash Drive. However, I didn't see any files or anything and even this path isn't available, although I let the Defender scan.

What were the results of SFC -SCANNOW Command and Repair Install I suggested in Posts #19 and 23?

Thank you so much indeed Gregrocker, I have done the SFC-Scan, and it found some problems and repair them in the first scan, but when I noticed that the problem still going on, I have said to myself that I have to do more scans with SFC. However, in these scans, SFC didn't found any problems.

For 'Repair install', how can I do it as long as I don't have a Windows 7 installation disc?

On the other hand, the Repair install' maybe will reinstall the a new version on my system. As a result, my data will remove. As it is described there:
NOTE: Be sure to backup anything that you do not want to lose first to be extra safe.

All of these questions are answered therein.

In fact I stated in post 23 that an installer was included.

It keeps all programs, settings and data in place while reinstalling the OS.

You should always have your data backed up in case of HD or other failure.

Yes, you are quite right, but I couldn't do that because this tool of windows no longer responds, when I click on it to make a backup.

On the other hand, Should I do anything to return my data and settings or everything will still as it was after the repair completes.

Data will still be in-place after this in-place Upgrade unless there is a catastrophic failure to HD or during repair so that even a boot disk cannot retrieve it. This hasn't happened in any of the countless Repair Installs I've helped with.

Nevertheless back up by dragging your active User folders (Documents, Pictures, Music, Favorites, etc) to External, another HD, DVD, flash stick or upload 7gb free with each Windows Live ID to Skydrive - this can be easily done with Sync Any Folder to Your SkyDrive Account | PCWorld

Make sure you have everything you need in those folders, or drag it separately.
