How to change all of my Windows 7 Icons

Hi Forum !

I want to change all of my Windows 7 Icons - folders, computer drive, live folders, etc... I know there is a program called Stardock IconPackager... but I do not want to use any programs. I would like to do it manually. I googled how to do it manually and saw a trick in the registry that I can do to help me change the icons but there are only some youtube videos showing how to change folders, and drives but not like Icons in the Control Panel, icons in the Library, etc. Any complete guide or video showing how to ? The youtube videos that I watched I have success, but not every video is there to show you how to change all the icons in your Windows 7. So any help would be much appreciated.

Hey man, you can find all kinds of of different icons online .

Changing icons:
1. Right click the icon you wish to change and select properties.
2. It should automatically bring up the Shortcut menu, but if not select it and click change icon.
3. Click browse to find the desired icon, and voilà! You can now enjoy your application's new look!
*NOTE* regular images will not work, they have to be actual icons.

(My Firefox icon happens to be sporting Ben Kenobi at the moment )
