I just bought a new ultrabook...an HP Envy 4t. I'm looking for a thin 7mm SSD to put in it, and I've narrowed my choices down to 2. I understand one comes with a data transfer kit and one doesn't, and there's a slight difference in capacity. That being said, and "stated drive performance numbers" taken with a grain of salt, which drive would you go with? I'm leaning towards the Corsair, but I do have a regular 9.5mm version of the Crucial M4 that does well.

Newegg.com - Corsair Force Series 3 CSSD-F240GB3A-NB 2.5" 240GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) Notebook Upgrade Kit

best advice: capacity and data transfer rates should be your primary concern. the fact that you're buying name brand is an excellent decision......

I have 4 SSDs already, my questioning was on the fact I was limited to choosing a 7mm one...which cuts down the available choices quite a bit.

I ended up listening to my impatience, and I ordered the Corsair drive, if for no other reason than to compare it to my existing 3 Crucial drives and one OCZ.

I guess every Samsung I looked at was retail, because they were 9.5mm. I checked my two usuals...Newegg online and MicroCenter in person. Good to know though, in case I change my mind.

Samsung has 3 models to choose from, OEM, Notebook upgrade kit, and Desktop Upgrade Kit. The desktop kit has a spacer on it, making it 9.5mm I believe, the notebook and OEM are both sans-spacer.
