Well, knowing LBB he means the specs of the computer he has the issue on

Maybe, but it still doesn`t help the issue.

Either you install 7 and Linux with both drives connected and get a boot screen, or you disconnect each drive during the install and use the boot menu, either way should work.

Knowing the specs of the problem computer would at least let us know what motherboard was being use which would give us a idea if f8 or what ever key gave boot selection. It would also let us know information about hare drives and SSD installed.

I know of no problem that can be cause by knowing the problem computer specs
