Hi all
I've heard good things about Google Chrome. I've been getting crashes at times with IE8 so am looking to see if Google Chrome is OK

What I want to know is can I run applications where ActiveX is required - such as the web interface for vmware server and RDP. These apps are a MUST for me.

I don't really want to have a load of different browesers on a "Production" type machine -- its fine having zillions of them on a test computer but not for machines that will be used by Real work users.

Note RDP doesn't need a browser unless the Web interface version is used - which is what I need.

I know its not the best choice but sometimes you don't get a choice.

Cheers
jimbo

I have Chrome, and all the ActiveX apps run without any problem under Windows 7.

I don't remember my Chrome browser ever crashing. Not even once since Chrome was released.

I have to agree with him. The browser supports most formats but most sights (if their made well) won't have only active x. its just that its easier to do with internet explorer. I would encourage you to try and and tell me what you think. I love it, its the fastest browser I've ever used. I hate waiting on firefox to start :(
