clean installed windows 7 64 over windows 8

hello to all not sure if this is possible or the right place to ask as stated in title.now can anyone tell me if it is possible to find my windows 8 product key that is locked in bios even though I have windows 7 installed has anyone done this succesfully if yes please tell me how thanks in advance

If this was an OEM computer that originally came with Windows 8 preinstalled, then the Windows 8 product key would indeed be embedded in the BIOS/UEFI firmware. There would not be a COA sticker.
