Note: I was not sure where to put this post so please move if needed.
I was checking the AVG Threat Labs website to check if the websites i use are safe. I remembered that a family member plays Club Penguin on this PC. It said that malware was detected on Dec 10 but only that day in the last 30 days. This actually happens almost every month and actually this is the first time there is a potentially harmful malware was on the site. The time before, it a Javascript Obfuscation was detected. Maybe for some reason, Disney finds malware on CP and removes it on the same day and hackers target them again the next month. It could be a false positive. Please help me because my family is spending spending their hard earned money to give him a membership. But it would be a waste to not log in but spend money for membership.
Also, one thing i do not get is the fact that companys make you pay money for services even if you did not use the service in the previous month.
