COM Surrogate stopped working

Whenever I launch a RECORDED video (by DXtory), or simply open the folder of where the videos are located I get this annoying error "COM Surrogate has stopped working"

I tried to download several different codecs. but I still have this problem.

Remove the codecpack, problem goes away.
