Well it started today i tried everything the minecraft forums were no help i get a java.sockettimeoutexeption :cry: idk what to do anymore

make sure you have the latest version of java as well as the correct bit version. 32bit will install and is the default one recommended by the java site if you click update but will cause issues as I had the same problem.

I manually searched for a link on the java site and downloaded the 64bit version

i fixed it by restarting my router weird but it worked and thanks
