Completely remove Windows Live Mail

How can i COMPLETELY remove Windows Live Mail? When I uninstall it through uninstalling/changing programs and either remove only WLM or the entire Windows Essentials 2012 and then reinstall Windows Essentials, all of my mail is still in the new WLM, so the glitch of error code 0x800CCC92 still remains. I want to get rid of WLM so I can start over. I have already backed up my mail, and I can get to it very well from the server online.

I don't know, but I recommend deleting all of the e-mails first.

I agree. Delete the emails first then uninstall it remember to delete them from the delete folder also prior to uninstalling and see if that fixes it

Or Shift+Delete. That might prevent them from going to the trash or Deleted folder.

You can of course if you are confident enough delete the entire WLM from the HKEY registry.

Look under Users/xxx/AppData/Local/Microsoft/WindowsLiveMail
This is where everything is stored.

Welcome to Seven Forums L D. This method may work, but I would definitely suggest a full system backup image, or a registry backup at the least.

Oops yes LD I should have said what A Guy said in the previous post and do a complete registry back up before you go in with my dynamite, pick and shovel method
