This is a very odd problem and involves only one source of e-mail. I am using Windows 7 64-bit myself with Windows Live Mail 2012 the e-mail program. What it is i receive a lot of e-mail from one particular company, 7 people there in all, and this problem only happens to e-mails from one person there. They send me a lot of attachments, and when i download the e-mails from this one person they arrive in what looks like plain text, all the images in the e-mail body are displayed as lines of text, but the main issue is the e-mails lose their attachments. Its been going on for about 3 years now and i'd love to sort out why its doing this from one person there and not the others. The e-mail account i use is an online based one, if i log into the website and view his e-mail on there, the attachments are still there, so its the downloading it into Windows Live Mail that is causing the problem. Can anyone think what might be causing it with this one persons e-mails but no one elses? I've attached a screenshot of how the e-mails look in WLM when i have downloaded them, i've covered up any company info
