Hello
Ive been getting a lot of blue screens since a few days ago when i was just gaming. I tried updating graphics drivers but my pc couldnt even launch windows after that and so i resorted to safe mode and uninstalling the graphic drivers and found thay I can run the computer without getting blue screens but only without having graphics drivers.

This has been happening for the past week in which if i try do anything that required my graphics drivers to be used it would BSOD. Ive also tried CMD. and the command SFC.EXE /SCANNOW and i got: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

ok cool . one question . Do you think 750W is enough to run my build and if its not, is there a chance that the PSU may be causing the BSOD'S?

Hey sorry for the late reply. I did as you said but i still am getting BSOD's.Whenever i have the graphics drivers installed my pc crashes after loading up windows(during the password enter phase). Do you think i should do a Clean reinstall of windows since: SFC.EXE /SCANNOW and i got: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
And then if i still get BSODS i can confirm its a hardware problem?

Yes, if you re-installed Windows and the BSOD keep occuring then it is confirmed thats a hardware problem.
Before re-installing run chkdsk /f in a elevated command prompt.

How-to open an elevated command prompt:

1. Click the start button

2. Search for cmd

3. Right click cmd and click Run is adminstrator

Now run chkdsk /f in that command prompt.

BTW tommorow i will phone up ASUS and ask if bios updates on this motherboard have previously solved BSODS. If that is the case i will try and do the update. If however i still get BSOD's i will update the post to say that i will do a clean reinstall.

Also do i have to Format the drive before doing a clean install?

Hey , just did a clean reinstall. However i got BSOD's again when the update for the NVIDIA graphics adapter was installed (also installed Nvidia driver). I'm pretty sure now this is a hardware issue and would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Hey , sorry for not mentioning earlier but i already have done Memtest86+ on both RAM sticks with 10 passes each. and performed Seatools on windows on both drives which passed. Is it necessary for me to run seatools on DOS seeing that the drives passed on windows version?
