Hey!
I get a computer crash while im playing skyrim. Its currently the only task I'v been experiencing this crash. The computer freezes, in the last frame of the game. I get a nasty sound in my headset, like a eletric interface kinda sound. The keyboard and mouse gets disabled (no lights or response)

I have a whole new computer, with new parts.
running windows 7 professional 64bit

Any ideas? :)

Hi -

There are no BSOD memory dumps nor traces of actual BSODs.

I did find 6 Event Viewer Entries indicating sudden system shutdown (could have been hard power-down) -
Code:
[FONT=lucida console]Event[78]:[/FONT]
[FONT=lucida console]Log Name: System[/FONT]
[FONT=lucida console]Source: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power[/FONT]
[FONT=lucida console]Date: 2011-11-25T00:08:26.192[/FONT]
[FONT=lucida console]Level: Critical[/FONT]
[FONT=lucida console][COLOR=black]Description:[/COLOR] [/FONT]
[FONT=lucida console][COLOR=red]The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. [/COLOR][/FONT]
[FONT=lucida console][COLOR=red]This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, [/COLOR][/FONT]
[FONT=lucida console][COLOR=red]crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.[/COLOR][/FONT]

You said the entire system is new - all hardware parts? Did you or another assemble it?

Run Speccy - Download Speccy 1.14.288 - FileHippo.com
- "File" | "Publish Snapshot" | Paste URL into your next post

Keep Speccy up - check temps when system freezes.

Also keep ResMon up - look for activity spikes -
START | type resmon

Hi -

I didn't mean to imply human error on your part - I was thinking more in terms of warranty (didn't want my suggestions to result in warranty void)!

Thank you for Speccy.

You have a single stick of 4 GB RM. Re-seat it, preferably in another slot.

My attention now is drawn to your 60 GB SSD. I see Window 7 is installed on a 1 TB SATA HDD. What's on the SSD? Can you disconnect it and use the system - see if BSODs continue?

Hehe! Okey! :)

I have re-seated my RAM slot now!

Okey this is strange! Windows is instaled on the 1 tb hdd, so says the test and on my startup. And to be honest I was kinda confused when I first started up my system, because my intention was to instal windows on the SSD HDD, Windows was instaled and I then was going to setup the startup pri to start windows from the SSD. But then the system failed to start, I then set my 1TB disk to be the pri 1 startup and my system worked!
Now watch these pictures prt scr from my computer...!

It looks like something is messed up bad! xD Think I will try reinstall the whole operating system, to see if its fixed! :)

When you reinstall Windows 7, disconnect the HDD.

Now I have reinstaled windows on the SSD, while I unplugged the other HDD and reseated the ram in another slot! But I still get the same problem! Computer freezes under heavy load (skyrim). Nasty electric sound in headset, mouse and keyboard stops to work..

Hi -

The latest BSOD -
Code:
[FONT=lucida console]FAILURE_BUCKET_ID:  X64_0xF4_[COLOR=red]IOERR[/COLOR]_C000000E_IMAGE_[COLOR=red]hardware_disk[/COLOR][/FONT]

Take the SSD out - RMA it.

Install Windows 7 onto the HDD.
