Hi all,

I am experiencing the problem from past one month or so.My pc just freezes randomly sometimes with a buzzing sound from the speaker and sometimes with no sound but the cursor stays fixed on the screen in both cases. When it happens nothing works i.e keystrokes don't have any effect, mouse pointer doesn't move, just nothing.Any moving thing just freezes , if there is a progress bar indicating some installation or video playing or whatever it just stops with the last frame.Sometimes it then goes on to restart on its own,but in most cases I have to do it manually.I also get the "display driver stopped working and has recovered" message just before the reboot irregularly. On reboot I do get Black screen sometimes after the Windows login.
However I have noticed this freezing issue mostly happens when I'm browsing. It did happen once or twice when I was playing games or just after I had booted onto the desktop though but it's very rare.Mostly it happens when I'm browsing ,opening new tabs, facebooking, googling or watching videos on youtube etc.I don't know whether it has any connection with that problem but I found it worth mentioning.

My graphic card is 2 gb ddr3 Asus Silent cooling Nvidia Geforce GT 610

Things I tried before on my own include

1.Uninstalling Nvidia driver, cleaning driver left out files with Driver Sweeper and again performing clean Install of latest driver. It didn't work.

2. I even took my gpu to the asus service centre as mine was of asus. I got it replaced and tested from them.it didn't work either.I can't assume they've replaced it with a copy having the exact same problem.:D :D

3. I fresh installed my Windows 7.it didn't work either.
4. Also ran memory test, disk check but no issue was found.

Today it just froze with the mouse stuck and the desktop went black for 1 or 2 sec, followed by a Bluescreen showing some crash dump and an automatic restart thereafter. When I booted onto the desktop an error message came up as below

Hi axe0,
Although I am uploading the zip folder according to the instructions mentioned in the BSOD Posting Instructions but during analysis I noticed the command prompt displayed a message as it being unable to find the dump file from the Windows Minidump folder and hence the new zip folder would not include that one.I don't know how that .dmp file got deleted. So, for that I would request you to see the .rar folder which I uploaded earlier.Otherwise my problem might not be solved if the .dmp file stays left & unseen.

It appears your installation is counterfeit, no support may be provided until a genuine activation has been used on a clean install.

Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
A counterfeit installation contains heavily modified code which causes the system to behave in unexpected ways.
For this reason, analyzing counterfeit systems is unreliable and analysts won't try it.

I recommend to install a genuine copy of Windows.
If, after you have installed a genuine copy of Windows, you still get BSOD's we'll be happy to assist you.

Ok... I understand but let me tell you one thing that I have been using this windows edition for past 4 years or so and hadn't this issue earlier. This is first time I'm experiencing this kind of problem. The installation which I use receives windows updates and also displays genuine logo with an OEM key.I got confused when you stated it to be a counterfeit version. If you people can't analyse it for it being a counterfeit one then could you please suggest some other forum or any tutorial or any other resource which could help me solve my issue.I would look for it myself.Just a friendly suggestion, that's all I'm asking for.Thanks.

This means nothing, an issue can occur at any time...

The installation which I use receives windows updates and also displays genuine logo with an OEM key.I got confused when you stated it to be a counterfeit version.
That's called an exploited OS, letting the system think its activated genuinely.
