I have had this computer for about 1 year and since day one i have had numerous issues with it. at completely random times ill get the blue screen of death with 2 main error codes: Memory Management and Crash dump. one time (only once) i got the error code of Bad_code (cant remember if it was code or load)_header. also, on a few occasions, upon start up, my battery light will begin flashing red and white and during the boot up ill get the message "WARNING: the battery cannot be identified. the system will be unable to charge the battery. strike the f1 key to continue. f2 to run the setup utility" at the time the battery part came in as an issue, i asked a friend of mine (owner of his own computer fixing company) and he said to safely hit F1. no problems. when i went to move my computer and i unplugged the power supply, it shut down. rebooted and the battery warning happened again so i turned off the entire computer, took the battery out and blew on it (like an old nintendo 64 cartridge). worked fine after that. it continues...on a few more occasions ill be playing a game with my friends (i dont have many games since i am in constant fear of more issues) and my computer will lock up, what is on my screen will start to shake and go crazy and my computer will begin buzzing. also, without warning, my computer will just shut down at random. no warning message, no error message, nothing. bam, down. extreme lag is also an issue. chrome, mozilla (my main browser), even IE will take a full 3 minutes to open up (i mean, FULL 3 minutes, i timed it. sometimes more, rarely less). i have had the memory upgraded (from 4 GB to 8 GB), i have had a total of three hard drives in my computer (original then two more). the only thing i have not replaced is the motherboard. but in all honesty, im ready to chuck this thing out the window (no pun intended). i will provide any information needed to permanently fix this, but my patience is thin. i have had Dell support look at it 3 times (dont laugh). the most recent time i called in i was sent on a wild goose chase because i apparently have premium support and when i got to premium support, i asked to have my mom bridged into the call and i got hung up on when i asked for that. i have had 24/7computing (the owner of the entire company i might add) look at it, he couldnt fix it either. im getting to the point where trashing this and going to apple would be better.

for some reason im seeing a fix on the bottom of this thread (im new to this site, made an account only to have my computer issues solved). it lead me to fixmypc. i am NOT downloading that. i have CCleaner and its better than fixmypc by far. plus i have ccleaner purchased. i would like the "recommended fix" removed please.

i actually did try a return. i asked for a replacement twice in the first two times i called in. they said the warranty has expired. it has not because i kept track. i ran the diagnosis tool (upon Dell's request) twice and both times the hard drive failed. let me rephrase, i ran the diagnosis on two different hard drives and it failed both times...im thinking its just the motherboard because that is the only thing i have not had replaced.
