I plugged that thing in just about every port and I am in touch with Dell about not getting any instructions or software with the unit. I did think about the board being defective, but I tried my old board, which was and is still operational, and that didn't work either. ThanksHave you tried unplugging the keyboard and using another USB port?
Have you thought about taking the new keyboard back (it could be faulty)?
