hello well i have pentium 4 and windows 7 . some days ago my computer become slow and welcome screen apears very slowly what camn i do? i start antivirus but nothing was found. i think beybe it is reason of bad operating systeme?????? please help.

Have you tried any programs such as ccleaner?

May also be worth checking your startup programs...

Start >> Type MSCONFIG press enter >> click on the Startup tab

Un-tick anything you don't require at start up and then click apply - if you are unsure of the applications then post them here and we can advise.

2 programs i use to clean my computer for various issues are:

SuperAnti Spyware - SUPERAntiSpyware.com | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!

First I agree with both my esteemed cololegues.

Second we need your system specs to know what hardware we are dealing with

third does it take a long time when you boot to safe mode (F8)?
