Solved Computer > Manage does not open

When I right click the Computer icon on the desktop and try to open Manage, nothing happens. The mouse cursor changes to an hourglass for a nanosecond, then back to a pointer, but that is all. No error messages. I've tried running sfc /scannow which did find an error and corrected it, but did not fix this particular problem. I can still access Services and Disk Management via the Control Panel by typing in either services or disk into the search box.

Fixed my own problem.

The Administrative Tools folder was empty for some reason. I moved it to the Accessories folder quite some time ago as I like to re-arrange shortcuts and folders into groups, but I did not delete any of its contents.

I found a download of the Accessories contents and, by typing the correct path into Explorer++ to open the folder (as I couldn't find another way), and pasting the folder into it, the shortcuts worked, and Manage now opens.
