How to discover HDD in my computer, various programs does not help

Hello everybody,

I have an Issue with the HDD. I wanted to plug in internal HDD as external via USB adapter. The windows 10 shows the driver in device manager and in computer management, nonetheless it is 'unkown' and 'not initialized'. In my computer it is not shown as well. I tried to plug it as internal and the windows booted 1 time, but after few tries to plug it as external via USB, trying to plug it as internal and boot is not done, because 'no operating system was found'. I have important files in the disk and it would be very good to recover them. I tried TestDisk which did not find the device at all, I tried to find it via Puppy Linux, tried partition wizard, which did not find any partition in the HDD, and tried MIni tool Power Data Recovery, nothing helped me. Do you have any Ideas how to recover the data from the HDD and make it later usable as external HDD via USB port?

I would say that your disk is dead but ....
Don't try to fix it.
Ask Jumanji for help. He is the disk guru.

It can be the USB port USB enclosure or cable fault. Install internally go to BIOS does it see it if it doesn't it's dear if it does make sure you boot from normal drive see if disk Management sees it then

Ext hardware is not coop with your pc....End of story...in pc store from 6 devices for IDE SATA external connection , 4 will work for me, and only 2 or 3 will really work with not damaging file system , and only 2 will be practical to work, only 1 will survive...

HDD can be stunt.
After contact with flash software (not flashing) , after connection with external hardware...
I used to use linux red hat installation earlier to unshock HDD, sometime in first attempt, sometime it needed more than one session of work or write partition on disk ...
HDD is working all the time properly in linux , only it is unseen in win XP, win7, or undetectable by bios of mbd , but working in that same mbd...
After some time (several linux or win reboots) HDD gets his flash rom name again , and is normal for win and for mbd...
And working several years after that...
