So here's the thing, my computer froze at the welcome screen, i force shut it down, next start up after welcome screen it says "preparing your desktop" and then blue-screens. This happens a few times. I use lenovos fix bad sectors tool since it detected bad sectors. After that i start up and manage to log on.
first thing i notice is that my background has reverted to the default Lenovo computer desktop image and lenovo runs a program winch is "personalizing settings for:" and most of my Microsoft programs(media player, internet explorer, etc.) scroll by. And thats where i am now and

here is a list of problems im having:

  • Can't pin to task bar
  • start menu blank(except for >all programs) - imgur: the simple image sharer
  • some programs act like i started them for the first time (for example. I had to go trough Drop-boxes first time set-up)
  • All but the default file associations are gone
  • cant choose default programs, because when i select it it doesn't show up in the list

  • That's all for now atleast but it has only a day since and im still discovering (found two while writing this post)
Here are my specs:

  • Model - Lenovo Thinkpad Edge e530
  • processor - Intel Core i7 - 3612QM CPU @ 2.10Ghz 2.10GHz
  • Memory - 4 gb
  • OS - Win 7(duh) home premium x64
  • Video card #1 - Intel Graphics 4000 (Integrated)
  • Video card #2 - Nvidia GeForce GT 630M 2gb
  • IDK what more you need
So is there anyone who has had a similar problem or might now a solution, this is really getting annoying

EDIT: Added the bsod thing - can't run the hdd diagnostic ATM but hope this helps

there are possibilities:
your system in infected by a virus attack
misconfiguration in windows files
corrupted registry
you need to reboot system, press f8, select safe mode from boot menu
start system and run a complete scan
restart system and type "msconfig" in run box, Enter
hope system will work normal
