Computer only working for a minute, Doesn't let me use system restore

I try to boot up my computer and around a minute later none of my applications work anymore and I'm forced to restart my computer. I hit f8 as it was booting up and if I select any of the options I get an I/O error 0xc00000e9 and I couldn't even use safe mode. The next day I tried safe mode and it works! Then an hour later (While I was backing up all my important files to my E:/ drive) nothing would respond again, and safe mode would do that every time i loaded it. Does anyone know what's happening? I'm pretty sure it has to do something with failing hardware.

Can be a disk problem.
Boot from an installation disk, go to repair and launch a CMD window.

Type:
chkdsk C: /f/r

If it finds bad clusters and or bad blocks, your disk is dying. Replace the disk. My suggestion is to replace with a SSD.

If the disk is healthy, do a system file check
Type
sfc /scannow

I got all the stuff on a different computer and used a flash drive to transfer it, but since my computer wont respond after a couple seconds I can't get to the program to run it!

Did you burn a DVD or made a boot able USB flash disk on the computer that you downloaded the ISO file?

Yes, it says i need to run the program that you gave me to launch the iso but my computer only lets m use it for a couple seconds. Not even safe mode works

The ISO is the windows 7 installation disk.
If you have burn the iso file to a DVD or created a USB boot able you can boot from it and then check your disk. See post #2.

My dvd-R's disappeared so i can only use flash drives/sd cards but since my flash drives are only 2 gigs big i can only use sd cards, and in order to make the a bootable sd card you must use the program you gave me. the only problem is that I can only run executeables on the computer that is pretty much broken

I dropped my computer 1 foot recently, before this happened. Would that effect anything?

Was it on?
If it was on it can explain everything. HDDs are very sensitive to shocks.
You MUST test your disk.
Once you make a Win 7 installation disk (DVD or USB flash) and do the disk test you'll have the answer.

Yes my computer was on, I was using it and i dropped it from a chair. I also can't make a windows 7 installation disc because i don't have any dvd-r's anymore and I can't make a bootable usb because that requires using a program

You need to do this on your other comp.

Insert USB ... run tool .... run W7 download.

OLD computer reset bios to boot from USB first.
Install from USB

My other comp is a chromebook which can't run executeables.

Also it wouldn't matter because it turns out i had a head crash.
