Also crashed when I tried to play Awesomenauts. I have not tried it with any other games.

I have had this sort of thing happen to me before, but I don't know how I fixed it. I've uploaded the dump the folder that was generated with the SF Diagnostic Tool and I have copied the useful part of the error message that pops up after getting back to the desktop.(I have no idea what to call it)

It might be worth noting that I've had to change the Windows product key because the person I bought the computer from apparently used the original on their new machine. They had the decency to pay for the new key though.

The problem is that the Key they bought is an MSDN one - and invalid except when used by the MSDN subscriber themselves.
Your installation is therefore counterfeit.

Here's my standard spiel on MSDN Keys.

The Key in use is an MSDN Key from a not-for-resale MSDN account.
Unless you are an MSDN subscriber, you are not entitled to use the Key – and whoever sold it to you was not entitled to do so.
You need to claim an immediate refund from the vendor - do NOT accept the offer of a new key (all they are trying to do is to get past the 45-day claims window or avoid you sending the evidence of their crimes to the authorities)

Please read the following posts.... .................................

The pirates have got VERY good at this over the past few years, as the price of equipment for manufacturing the packages drops, and as factories open in less well-policed countries.

Wonderful.
I can't really get a refund unfortunately as it was given to me(by the same guy who sold me the computer) a year or two ago and I don't have the disc, Windows was already installed onto the machine. I guess I'll have to see if I can get a complimentary key or switch to Linux, as I'm strapped for cash.
Is that the only issue or do I have anything else to worry about? Regardless, I appreciate your help.

Is there a COA sticker on the machine at all?
If so, for what version and edition of Windows?
(If there is, then if it's for the same edition as is installed, then the previous owner was incredibly stupid, since the rights to use the Key/license transfer with the machine!)

In that case, you're SOL, and will have to acquire a full license for Windows.
