System Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 revision 1.2 F7
Ram: G.Skill Ripjaw 16GB 1600 DDR3
Graphics card: EVGA GTX 760 superclocked with ACX cooling
CPU: AMD AM3+ 8150 Zambezi 8-core with cooler master hyper 212 plus
PSU: Rosewill ARC-M650 modular single rail
Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s
Keyboard and mouse: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle
Operating System: Windows 7 home premium

I have removed the 2 new sticks of 2x4gb ram and began trying to test the PC.

I ran memtest on each of the 2 remaining sticks of ram for 12(first one overnight) and 9 passes without finding errors.

I have ran the furmark test for over 20 minutes and my temps never ran higher than 83(which is about what the card is supposed to do)

However when I try to run Prime95 in any test with 8 threads is almost instantly crashes. I was able to run the small fft test with up to 6 cores without a problem, but as soon as I added a 7th worker is causes a crash within minutes. I have not played around much with the thread number for the other tests, I just know it causes a restart without BSOD every time I try to run the 8 worker torture test.

I have also tried running OCCT tests. With the OCCT: CPU test in small data set a reset happens after about 2-3 minutes. Large data set doesn't run for more than 5 seconds before restart. And the OCCT: Linpack test has about the same results.

I have monitored the temperatures with the CPUID HWmonitor and haven't noticed the temps going out of the ordinary while running the stress tests, but I did notice that the -12v value drops pretty drastically(leveling itself out usually shortly after)

At this point I'm not sure what the problem is. I just know that every stress test I have tried to run on the CPU causes a restart.

Please help.

P.S. none of these restarts create a dump file(and I have it set to not restart under power options).
It's also running in the high performance profile.

I do not currently have access to my home computer as I'm at work, but if anyone has any idea's I can try them when I get home.

Without any dumps or logs, it's hard to tell but my first guess would be that you're running out of power. Your PS says it supplies 54A on the 12v rail. (I would venture to guess it's less.) PSs don't like to run at peek output for very long. Your video requires 30A, CPU about 15A, Motherboard about 7A. That's 52A right there. Then add all your fans, drives and additional hardware. But, as I said, this is a first guess.

You may be on to something. My rig has the power supply fan, the heatsink fan, and a front fan that would add to that.
Could you maybe suggest one that would keep up with the amps needed?

Also a little more info. Before upgrading my PC with the video card and RAM I was able to run Dragon Age Inquisition without any problems for over 90 hours. Now it will only last an hour before it crashes the computer with no BSOD.

Diagnostic report attached.

Also I had already viewed the dumps and corrected the XHCI problem.

The system event log wasn't much help--It ended in January. The app events appear to be showing a lot of Watchdog timeouts. This could be caused by hardware faults or software faults. Check with your motherboard OEM for a BIOS update and/or update for the motherboard drivers. Especially any INF installers.

BIOS Version: Award Software International, Inc. F7, 10/22/2012

I'm currently running Bios version F7 ...
I know, that's what I posted. Is that the most current release?

I would look but I always have problems with the Gigabytes site and can't navigate anywhere.

F7 is the most recent other than the beta one. But I don't generally download beta drivers or bios updates.

So I got myself a much better PSU and hooked everything up. Ran the large data set test with OCCT and a minute in.....restart.

I don't know what it could be at this point....

I have not overclocked anything. The graphics card is the superclocked version, but i wouldn't even know how to overclock at this point.

Download and run the Emsisoft Emergency Kit. It's portable so there's no install but it does need to update. It will take a few minutes to update the signatures. After that, click on scan.

I'm curious, why would you say that? No AV finds everything. It means your system is infected. Reboot and try your test again.

The Etron USB3.0 driver is outdated. As far as I know it is an OEM version only, so if one ins't available from Gigabyte as an update, you have have to uninstall it and leave it uninstalled.

I did run the OCCT test again after the scan finished. It causes another restart =\.

Also I already updated the Etron 3.0 driver. That was the first thing I did to try to fix this problem. Unfortunately there haven't been any dumps since then though to help me diagnose the problem.

I was able to play 90+ hours of dragon age inquisition without ever crashing, then it just started happening after an hour and a half of playing. I installed the latest drivers for everything I could find on gigabytes website. I was able to play for 3 hours, before it crashing. Then I saw there were 2 services that were acting up around the time of the crashes(one was adobe flash player auto-updater service, the other was the Nvidia streamer service. I disabled them and the next day I was able to play with no issues at all. Then the next day it started crashing before even an hour was up.

I've been subsequently testing every part I can think of in the computer to find the fault. I checked the RAM with memtest(9+ passes), I checked the graphics card with the Furmark and OCCT GPU test. When I tried to run any test that taxes the CPU the computer restarts. At this point I believe the fault is either in the CPU or the MOBO. But I can't figure out which one is at fault because I don't have another of either to test.
