Hi guys

So this problem is really getting on my nerves and I really want it to stop
When the computer goes to sleep mode, it works.
But then when I wake it up (by pressing a key on the keyboard) the fans blare on and the laptop immediately turns off!
An help would be fantastic i really would appreciate it

After a "Wake-up failure", how does the laptop get "re-booted" and running Windows-7?

Do you get any error message(s) booting up, and/or after Windows is up and running?

Nothing in the crash reports to indicate the cause. Your .dmp files are really old and probably not of any help. Your newest crash was in February, and it points to a graphics card problem. As I said, this is probably not related to your current problem, but I still think it may be worth pursuing the possibility that it might be. Re-install or install the latest drivers for your display card. Your current drivers may be corrupt and/or outdated. Use the following method to re-install the drivers.

  1. Download the drivers you want for your display card(s)
  2. Click Start Menu
  3. Click Control Panel
  4. Click Uninstall a program
  5. For NVIDIA:
    • Uninstall the NVIDIA Graphics Driver (this should uninstall all NVIDIA software and drivers)
    • Restart your computer
    • Make sure NVIDIA 3D Vision Driver, NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player, NVIDIA HD Audio Driver, and NVIDIA PhysX System Software are not still listed under Uninstall a program through Control Panel
    • If any remain of the above, uninstall one at a time
    • If asked to restart after uninstalling any of the above, do so, and continue uninstalling any remaining NVIDIA items until all are removed
  6. Restart your computer after uninstalling drivers for all display cards
  7. Install the driver you selected for the display cards once Windows starts

Probably, but we will have to go through steps to try to determine what the cause is. I also notice some optimization software installed on the system. Did that come with the computer, or did you install that yourself?

I was referring to:
Code:
PC Optimizer Pro	"c:\program files\pc optimizer pro\startapps.exe" -s	Public	HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
It does not seem to be installed anymore, but it is listed as a startup program. You have a lot of startup programs, and I wonder if some of your trouble is attributed to old software that was not cleanly uninstalled. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ation-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html and keep only your antivirus software active.

Do you have real-time antivirus software?

I see McAfee Security Scan, but that is not real-time... Recommend either of these two setups (after removing McAfee Security Scan):
Download and install the security setup of your choice, update the software, and then run a full scan of your system for viruses and malware. If you only install MSE, I would also suggest installing and updating Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download, but do not start the free trial/full version of Malwarebytes. Run a full scan with Malwarebytes after updating it. Post back the results.
